There is a boat launching ramp at the lake with a fishing and boater use dock nearby. In 1972 the lake was upgraded with fish shelters, rough fish were removed and special vegetation was planted in the lake to breed bacteria for small fish to breed on. Five Sportsman's Clubs lent a hand in creating a great fishing lake. Surrounded by wooded hills, this lake is considered to be one of the most beautiful in the area. No swimming is allowed in the lake. Fishing licenses and boating permits are required, otherwise there is no charge for use of this or any of the city parks. |
