Johnstone Park -Area Three

The third part of Johnstone Park, located across the Caney River bridge (Highway 123) on the north side, consists of an small, six space RV park with electrical hookups, and barbecue grills. To rent a space in this park, one should inquire at the Police Station at the corner of Johnstone and Hensley Blvd.

The campsites are fairly primitive, but offer lots of space between sites and grassy areas for touch football and walking dogs.

There is a popular fishing spot at the dam beneath the bridge and a boat ramp to the river above the dam.
